■先日、JAZZの演奏をご一緒した方から、
素晴らしい曲を、いくつも紹介してもらいました。
そのひとつ、「You Must Believe In Spring」
フランスの作曲家、ミッシェル・ルグランの作曲で、
歌詞はアラン＆マリリン・バーグマン。
映画「ロシュフォールの恋人たち」(1968)で挿入された曲です。

春は来ると、信じなければならない

Can Spring be far behind?
一人さみしく感じる思いで、
心が芯まで凍えたなら、こう考えてほしい
冬が来たのなら、春もそう遠くはないと

バラが耐えていられるのは

そう、雪一面の世界であっても
すべてのものは、うつりかわっていく
わかっている と思っていても
確信できずにいるときは
春を信じなければならない
